This was a task assigned to me, specified as a "Custom Publication". I decided to explore something that I had an interest in making already, which was a zine of my poetry. I hand-illustrated all of the pages, save two. Two of the pieces were inspired by other art forms. One of which was "We Walked the Earth", by Uffe Isolotto. The other was "Widow" by Venus Khoury-Ghata. The others were a collection of poems that I have made in recent years. I wanted a darker theme, with imagery and iconography of wispiness and smoke. I printed this publication as a booklet, and hand-stitched it together.
