This project was a branding specific project, where I created a brand from scratch to make an identity around a microbrewery, which makes craft beer. I was given a name to create the identity around, which happened to be Make Believe Vampire Brewing. I then created a logo, color palette, typographic system, dieline, branding, mockups, beer bottle label, six pack carrier label and design, and photos of the finished product. I went a vampiric approach for the project, as it seemed like a perfect gateway into the name. I also did research on the target audience, which was very specific, for example, millennial, witty Portland based hipsters. In this approach, I decided to go for humor, so my logo was centered around a bat, who in theory believed that he was a vampire. It was a light, humorous, but on-theme approach for the brand. I went with dark red and yellow for the colors, and a hand-rendered type to better suit the brand.
